Hurricane Maria likely to cost Puerto Rico up to $95 billion: Moody's

U.S.-based consultancy firm Moody's Analytics Inc. said that hurricane Maria is likely to cause between $45 billion and $95 billion worth of damage in Puerto Rico, CNNMoney reported. Nearly $40 billion could be lost in economic output because of impassable roads and lost power, while property damage could total $55 billion, Moody's said. The high end of the range represents almost an entire year's economic output for Puerto Rico.
