Pug’s lavish lifestyle lands owner in legal jam

The owner of a well-dressed bug-eyed pug on Monday pleaded guilty in Garland County, Arkansas, to stealing public money to buy her dog a tuxedo, pet insurance, jewelry and more, Fox News reported on Thursday.

Kristi Goss, a 44-year-old former administrative assistant to a county judge in Hot Springs, Arkansas, was caught charging $200,000 on a government credit card, according to the network. Other purchases included car payments, tickets to Arkansas Razorbacks sporting events, and sequined throw pillows, the network reported.

"I hope for swift justice in this situation and hope a message has been sent to all that any and all misconduct and noncompliance with county policy and the law will not be tolerated, and appropriate actions will always be taken to bring justice,” Garland County Judge Rick Davis wrote in a released statement on his employee.

Ms. Goss is set to be sentenced Nov. 22.
