Hyundai suspends production at factory in China amid supply disruption

South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co. suspended production at one of its factories in China on Sep. 5 after a Germany-based supplier refused to provide parts due to delays in payment, Reuters reported citing sources. Hyundai and its local partner BAIC Motor Corp. Ltd. had recently resumed production at four plants on Aug. 30 after a week-long suspension following a French supplier's refusal to provide fuel tanks due to non-payment.
