The firm has started using its own trucks to stock 80 stores in the states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Lopes said. Data from Brazil's state public safety department showed that cargo theft grew nearly 26% year over year in Rio and 20% in Sao Paulo in the first seven months of the year.
