Storm Franklin is expected to intensify into hurricane Franklin before it makes its second landfall on the Mexican coastline, Artemis.bm reported. Heavy rains have already caused flash floods and landslides in the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico and Belize, with the storm likely to cause some level of loss to the insurance and reinsurance industry.
