Hackers target government websites, banks
Posted On: Jul. 31, 2017 4:00 AM CSTThe U.A.E's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority said that several government websites and local banks were recently hit by hackers, The National reported. The telecom regulator said that it foiled 289 cyber attacks in the first quarter. The regulator's Computer Emergency Response Team responded to 136 attempts, of which 133 were against government websites and three against private sector websites.
