Insurance fraud costs businesses $233 million as premiums skyrocket

Court awards for injuries have contributed to a rise in premiums for sectors such as the construction industry. A spokesperson for Ireland's Construction Industry Federation said that employer liability or public liability premiums have risen by up to 50% over the past 12 months.
