Shareholder lawsuit filed over Grenfell Tower fire
Posted On: Jul. 17, 2017 7:59 PM CSTA shareholder of Arconic Inc., which supplied cladding for the Grenfell Tower, sued the company in the United States on Thursday.
The lawsuit accuses the company of defrauding investors.
The lawsuit says that the company’s share price fell after it revealed that it would stop producing the inflammable cladding that was installed on the building.
At least 80 people were killed when a fire destroyed the tower last month.
