Marsh names former Aon exec president of US sponsored programs

Marsh L.L.C. on Monday said former longtime Aon P.L.C. executive Michael Westwood has been named president of Marsh sponsored programs.

Mr. Westwood is based in New York and will report to Marsh insurance services’ group president, Kevin Tobin, who is also interim leader of Marsh sponsored programs. He succeeds Mr. Tobin in this new position.

Mr. Westwood will focus on growing the program’s U.S. business, Marsh said in a statement. He joins Marsh from Aon Affinity, where he was most recently executive vice president of operations. 

“Michael is a well-known, innovative, transformational business leader in the affinity space and is ideally qualified to lead the growth and development of our Sponsored Programs business,” Mr. Tobin said in the statement.
