Italy to file $3-billion lawsuit against Morgan Stanley: Source

Italian prosecutors will file a lawsuit against Morgan Stanley over allegations that the bank caused more than $3 billion in losses to the country in relation to derivative transactions, Reuters reported citing sources. Italian court of audit Corte dei Conti is bringing the case against Morgan Stanley on behalf of the country's taxpayers. Hearings are expected to begin in April 2018, a source said.
