Alliant recruits former Wells Fargo head to Americas division

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. has named Kevin T. Kenny executive vice president and managing director for its Alliant Americas division, the brokerage said Thursday.

Based in New York, Mr. Kenny will work on in expanding the middle-market division’s reach throughout the eastern United States, Alliant said in a statement.

He was most recently the senior executive for strategic initiatives at Prosight Specialty Insurance Group Inc., Morristown, New Jersey.

Mr. Kenny previously headed Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc., which was sold to USI Insurance Services L.L.C. in a deal announced Tuesday.

“Kevin is known throughout the East for his ability to facilitate exceptional growth through talent acquisition, new partnerships, and strategic acquisitions,” Bob Bennetsen, executive vice president and senior managing director of Alliant Americas, said in the statement.
