75% of oil and gas firms hit by cyber attack: Deloitte
Posted On: Jun. 27, 2017 4:00 AM CSTA report by Deloitte L.L.P. found that three out of four oil and gas companies suffered at least one cyber attack in 2016, costing the industry an estimated $15 million on average, Bloomberg reported. Less than half of oil and gas firms use any monitoring tools on their upstream operations networks, the report said. Of those, only 14% have fully operational security monitoring centers, the report added.
