Crawford appoints Verma Global COO

Claims administrator Crawford & Company named Chicago-based Rohit Verma global chief operating officer, the company announced Tuesday.

The appointment is effective July 5.

Mr. Verma will have strategic, financial and operational oversight for Crawford’s lines of business, the Atlanta-based company said in the statement. 

Previously, Mr. Verma was divisional executive for the south region of Zurich North America, where he was accountable for profitable growth and market execution, according to the statement.
