Global Aerospace to set up European subsidiary in Paris post-Brexit

Nick Brown, chief executive of U.K.-based insurer Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers Ltd., said that the insurer is setting up a European Union subsidiary in Paris post-Brexit, Euronews reported citing Reuters.

"We are taking steps to establish a subsidiary in the E.U. so as to ensure that we are able to provide our services to customers across Europe on an uninterrupted basis, regardless of the outcome of the Brexit negotiations,” Mr. Brown said.

The insurer had chosen Paris "because we already have a team there and it is already an important marketplace for aviation insurance," he added.
