Lloyd's sets up committee to represent third-party capital

The U.K.-based Lloyd's Market Association is setting up a Members' Agents Committee, which will be given the task of representing the interests of third-party insurance or reinsurance capital investors at Lloyd's of London, Artemis.bm reports.

Graham White, non-executive director at U.K.-based financial services firm Argenta Holdings P.L.C., has been appointed as chairman of the committee. The committee will be tasked with providing expert input, guidance and assistance on issues affecting the members' agent community, including high level policy matters and operational issues.
