China insurance regulator seeks external experts to supervise solvency
Posted On: Jun. 1, 2017 5:39 AM CSTThe China Insurance Regulatory Commission said that it is seeking external experienced candidates to set up a new solvency supervision experts consulting panel, as it aims to further strengthen risk management capabilities, South China Morning Post reported.
The new committee's role is to advise CIRC on pressing insurance solvency issues, monitor development of international practices and provide support to international exchange and cooperation.
The committee will also participate in the regulator's inspection and evaluation of Chinese insurers.
