Germany probing Volkswagen brass
Posted On: May. 18, 2017 4:00 AM CSTMatthias Muller, chief executive of Germany-based automaker Volkswagen A.G., and his predecessor Martin Winterkorn are facing an investigation by German authorities to check whether they misled investors by delaying information about the company's cheating on diesel emissions tests, The Guardian reported citing Agence France Presse. Hans Dieter Potsch, chairman of Volkswagen's parent firm Porsche Automobil Holding S.E., is also under investigation.
