ILS market looks toward energy sector amid soft market conditions: Analysis

Analysis by U.K.-based insurance broker Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. found that the insurance-linked securities market is increasingly looking towards specialty markets such as energy, amid soft market conditions in the global property catastrophe space, Artemis.bm reported. The energy market is facing an abundance of capital with capacity levels in the sector either remaining flat, or increasing for all business lines over the last 12 months.
