Lloyd's CEO urges UK to act on reversing reinsurance market share drain

Inga Beale, chief executive of Lloyd's of London, has called on the government of the United Kingdom to put "expansive" trade deals at the top of the agenda to reverse a "concerning" slump in business from emerging markets after figures showed that London's share of global reinsurance markets had declined, Evening Standard reported. "If City firms are to continue to grow and support our economy it is critical the U.K. improves its access to international markets," said Ms. Beale.
