China to improve supervision over insurers

In its latest effort to improve supervision over fast-growing insurance companies, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission plans to carry out better capital regulation and differentiated regulatory measures, China Daily reports citing Xinhua. Meanwhile, premiums grew nearly 28% year over year in the country in 2016.
