Gallagher acquires Oklahoma insurance broker

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Commercial Insurance Brokers L.L.C. 

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Commercial Insurance Brokers is a group of insurance producers and service personnel that offer property/casualty products and services to energy, construction, financial services, manufacturing, transportation, professional services, nonprofit, and health care industry, Gallagher said Wednesday in a statement. 

Brad McCrory and his associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Bret VanderVoort, head of Gallagher's South Central retail property/casualty brokerage operations, according to the statement. 

Arthur J. Gallagher is the world’s fourth-largest insurance broker, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking, and made several acquisitions in the first quarter of 2017.
