Allianz Malaysia ends talks to buy Malaysian investment manager

Insurer Allianz Malaysia Bhd has discontinued talks to purchase investment manager HSBC Amanah Takaful (Malaysia) Bhd, The Star reports. The insurer gave no reason for calling off negotiations with HSBC Amanah Takaful's shareholders – HSBC Insurance (Asia Pacific) Holdings Ltd., JAB Capital Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia.
