AIG launches civil liability insurance for healthcare professionals and institutions

U.S.-based insurer American International Group Inc. has launched civil liability insurance for healthcare professionals and medical institutions in Brazil who face potential malpractice claims, BNamericas reported. The insurance policy will provide coverage for legal expenses, in- and out-of-court settlements and compensation for corporeal, material, moral, esthetic and existential damages.
