Hartford names new middle-market lead

The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. said Thursday that it has named Morris Tooker as head of its middle-market segment, effective immediately.

Mr. Tooker remains chief underwriting officer for the Hartford’s property/casualty businesses. He succeeds David Carter, who will be leaving the company, according to a Hartford spokesman.
 
Mr. Tooker is based in Hartford, Connecticut.
