Brexit spurs foreign insurers to open offices in Ireland

The Central Bank of Ireland has received five applications for authorization from foreign insurers to open offices in the nation as a result of Brexit, RTE reports. It said that five more insurers have shown a "firm intention" to apply. The central bank has been contacted by another 20 insurers to discuss authorization.
