Port operator loses nearly $90 million in quake

New Zealand-based port operator CentrePort Ltd. has said that it suffered $120 million New Zealand ($86 million) worth of losses due to the November 2016 earthquake in the nation, Stuff.co.nz reported. The company took a hit of more than NZD 68 million from damage to its wharves, seawalls, underground services and equipment. CentrePort also cut another NZD 50 million from the estimated value of its land.
