City loses more than $70 million to cyber attacks

A survey by U.K.-based office technology provider Altodigital Networks Ltd. found that the economy of Leeds, England, lost £57 million ($71 million) to cyber attacks in 2016, as more than 60% of local businesses were targeted by hackers, Bdaily reports. The survey also found that up to 40% of companies do not have a firewall, 54% of firms do not change old passwords and 76% are not protecting data stored on printers or photocopiers.
