CNA names chief underwriting officer

CNA Financial Corp. has named Douglas Worman to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, effective March 7. 

Mr. Worman will report to Dino Robusto, CNA’s chairman and CEO, CNA said Thursday in a statement. He was most recently CEO of U.S. insurance at Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd.

He will be based in Chicago.

"Under Doug's leadership, we will build upon our strong underwriting foundation and utilize his experience to broaden our profitable growth opportunities around the world,” Mr. Robusto said in the statement.
