Hub International acquires Alaskan insurer

Hub International Ltd. said Thursday that it has acquired the assets of Denali Alaskan Insurance L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of Denali Federal Credit Union. 

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Anchorage-based Denali Alaskan Insurance specializes in providing property and casualty insurance solutions, Hub said in a statement.

Denali Alaskan Insurance will co-brand with Hub, according to a Hub spokeswoman. Senior Denali managers will be retained by the Denali Federal Credit Union, and Denali staff members will report to local Hub management, she added.
