XL Catlin receives approval to open India branch

XL Catlin has received approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India to open a branch, The Royal Gazette reported.

The insurer plans to open an office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in time for the April renewals.
 
The branch will be headed by Joseph Augustin, who has been appointed CEO.
