Aviva to merge three insurance arms in UK

U.K. insurer Aviva P.L.C. plans to merge three of its local insurance arms as part of a restructuring plan, Belfast Telegraph reported. 
Andy Briggs, head of its U.K. life business, will be promoted to CEO of the merged insurance division. 
David McMillan, chairman of Aviva's global health insurance division, has decided to quit as a result of the changes. 
The restructuring will also see Maurice Tulloch, executive chairman of global general insurance, become chief executive of international insurance.
