Alternative capital remains key reinsurance pressure: UBS

Analysts at Swiss investment banking firm UBS Group A.G. said that alternative capital remains one of the key pressures facing the reinsurance industry, despite a slight reduction in the cyclical pressures reinsurers face, Artemis.bm reports. 
Insurance-linked securities fund managers are becoming increasingly specialized, expansive and competitive, both in the renewal market and outside as they seek to access risk more directly, the analysts said.
