Reinsurer Aureum Re launches in Cayman Islands

Reinsurer Aureum Re has been launched in the Cayman Islands, Cayman Compass reports.

It is the third reinsurer based on the island.

Aureum Re will focus on third party reinsurance of fixed annuities, variable annuities and supplemental contracts issued by U.S.-based insurers.
