BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. said Wednesday that Mike Liss has been named head of the company’s corporate risk and broking operations in North America, effective immediately.

Chicago-based Mr. Liss, who was most recently Willis Towers Watson’s Midwest leader, succeeds Bill Creedon, who left the company at the end of 2016 to join Willis’ joint-venture partner, Fairly Group, in Amarillo, Texas.

Mr. Liss will be responsible for business growth and strategy, and consolidating Willis Towers Watson’s leading position in the U.S. midmarket while expanding its offering to multinationals, Willis said in a statement. He will report to Joe Gunn, head of North America, and Todd Jones, global head of CRB.

He will retain his previous responsibilities until a successor is named, according to the statement.

“Mike has exceptional credentials to lead our CRB segment in North America, and his appointment is well-deserved,” Mr. Jones said in a statement. “Mike’s leadership approach centers on what works best for the team, and his experience and inclusive style will enable us to focus on building connected teams that go to market in a simple and efficient way.”
