Insurer receives fire claims worth $2 million
Posted On: Jan. 13, 2017 5:00 AM CSTDonald Kau, head of corporate affairs at South African insurer Santam Ltd., has said that the insurer has registered more than 40 claims worth 25 million South African rand ($2 million) from recent fires that swept through Simons Town, Cape Talk reported. Mostly holiday apartments and cottages have been damaged by the fire.
