Hannover Re gets final approval to open Indian branch

German reinsurer Hannover Re S.E. has received final approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India to open a branch in the nation, Xpirimm.com reports. The reinsurer will offer property/casualty reinsurance, including agricultural risks, as well as life and health insurance solutions in India.
