Integro taps former AIG exec to lead New York operations

Integro Insurance Brokers said Thursday that former American International Group Inc. executive Deborah Morris had been appointed New York operations leader.

Ms. Morris succeeds Esther Ro, who is relocating to the West Coast and will be based in Integro’s Newport Beach, California, office, New York-based Integro said in a statement.

Ms. Morris comes to Integro from AIG, where she worked in London and Hong Kong as well as New York, most recently serving as senior vice president sponsoring several global accounts, according to the statement.

She left AIG in March 2016, according to an Integro spokesperson.

“Deborah is a proven, inspirational leader who builds diverse and inclusive teams that collaborate to best address client needs,” Marc Kunney, president of Integro’s North American operations, said in a statement. “We are excited that she will guide our New York operations and build on Esther’s significant initiatives. No doubt we will be tapping into her international expertise and perspective, as well.”
