Ryan Specialty acquires agencies in Sweden, Denmark

The Navigators Group Inc. and Ryan Specialty Group L.L.C. said Tuesday that RSG has acquired Navigators’ insurance agency operations in Sweden and Denmark.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction represents a 100% acquisition of Navigators’ Sweden and Denmark corporations, NUAL A.B. and Navigators A/S, the companies said in a joint statement.

Navigators employees will continue as RSG employees, according to the statement. Sverker Edstrom will continue leading the Stockholm operation and Thomas Harrild will remain responsible for the Copenhagen office. The offices will be renamed RSG Sweden and RSG Denmark, the companies said in a joint statement.
