Trust Re's premiums slipPosted On: Dec. 21, 2016 5:00 AM CST
Bahrain-based Trust International Insurance & Reinsurance Co. B.S.C.'s gross written premiums slipped to $374 million in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, from $384 million in the same period the year prior, Xprimm.com reports. Net profit totaled $15.7 million. "The significant difference compared to the same period in 2015 ($31.5 million) is owed to a higher investment income, a major proportion of which was driven by a one-off gain on sale of shares," TRUST Re said.
