Acrisure acquires commercial, benefits business from Alaska broker

Acrisure L.L.C. has acquired Alaska USA Insurance Brokers L.L.C.’s commercial insurance and employee benefits books of business. 

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Alaska USA Insurance Brokers, based in Anchorage, Alaska, will operate under the name Insurance Brokers of Alaska, Acrisure said Friday in a statement. All commercial lines and employee benefits staff will remain the same and operate out of the existing location, according to the statement. 

Alaska USA Insurance Brokers will continue to operate as a personal lines insurance agency, Acrisure said in the statement. 

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Acrisure is the 14th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
