Cyber attack on Turkish bank could cost up to $4 million

A cyber attack on Turkish bank Akbank T.A.S. could cost the bank up to $4 million, Reuters reported. Hackers targeted the bank via the money transfer system of Belgium-based financial messaging services provider S.W.I.F.T. SCRL. The bank said customer data had not been compromised. "This has no impact on Akbank's operations or financials," added the bank.
