U.S. flood insurance reform a boost for Bermudan reinsurers

Efforts to the reform the U.S. government-run National Flood Insurance Program will bring new opportunities for Bermudan reinsurers, The Royal Gazette reports. The NFIP is $23 billion in debt and congress is developing measures that would encourage private sector insurers to sell flood insurance.
