Hub acquires Midwest commercial insurance brokerage

Hub International Ltd. said it has acquired the assets of brokerage Medley/Turrentine & Associates L.L.C.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Oklahoma City-based Medley/Turrentine specializes in property and casualty insurance and employee benefits, Hub said in a Tuesday statement.

Stuart DeSelms, president of Hub Mid-America, said in the statement that the acquisition will be “key to our continued expansion” in Oklahoma City and central Oklahoma.

Hub International is the world’s eight-largest insurance broker, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
