Cybercrimes in China explode by almost 1,000%: Survey

A survey has found that the number of cybercrimes increased by 969% in China between 2014 and 2016, primarily because of implementation of new technologies in households, Intabloid.com reports. An official said that China and Hong Kong have more adoption of Internet-of-things devices than anywhere else in the world. The rise is in contrast to the decline in cybercrimes across the world by 3% between 2014 and 2016, and by 30% in 2015.
