Willis Re names James Kent global deputy CEO

Willis Re on Monday said James Kent, co-president of Willis Re and president of Willis Re North America, has been promoted to the new position of global deputy CEO of Willis Re, effective immediately.

Mr. Kent will stay on as Willis Re North America’s president and continue working in New York with Willis Re North America CEO Jim Bradshaw, Willis Re said in a statement.

Mr. Kent “is one of the most highly regarded executives in the industry and has a stellar track record of driving innovation and financial performance,” Willis Re global CEO John Cavanagh said in the statement.
