Cybercrime continues growing

P.P.Chaudhary, Indian Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, said that data from the National Crime Record Bureau showed a 20% increase in reported cybercrime cases, New Indian Express reports. "With the innovation of technology and rise in usage of cyber space for businesses, the cyber attacks breaching data and privacy (such as phishing and identity theft) continue to occur in the country as elsewhere in the world," Mr. Chaudhary said.
