Central London suffers 10,500 ransomware hits: Security firm

Threat intelligence data collected by U.S.-based cyber security firm Malwarebytes Corp. revealed that London came under nearly 10,500 ransomware attacks in a little over a year, TechWeekEurope UK reports. That’s significantly more than any other London borough, city or county in the United Kingdom. Nima Samadi, data science analyst at Malwarebytes, said, "With over 80 million square ft. of office space in just 1.1 miles – that is a hugely tempting target for the bad guys."
