JLT Specialty USA adds to New York operations

JLT Specialty Insurance Services Inc. has appointed three new employees to its New York operations. 

The three new employees will focus on financial institutions, private equity, construction, technology, real estate and cyber issues, the New York-based U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. said Monday in a statement. 

Justin Riccio, as senior vice president, will be responsible for assisting with the growth of the Upstate New York Region, which consists of production and servicing staff. He most recently worked as the leader of Saratoga Springs, New York-based Adirondack Trust Co. Financial Services Inc.’s sales department where he recruited and managed production staff. He started his career working for American International Group Inc. and Ace Ltd., now part of Chubb Ltd., in an underwriting capacity dealing with national and global financial institutions. 

Kevin Rucinski, as vice president, will oversee client servicing and commercial lines procedures. He most recently held an account executive position with Adirondack Trust Co. Financial Services Inc. in Albany, New York, where he was responsible for the management and servicing of a large book of contractors, real estate and manufacturers. He started his career in insurance in 2007 working in personal and commercial lines claims and held the position of senior claims adjuster for MetLife Auto & Home, a unit of Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., and GMAC Insurance, now Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based National General Insurance. He is certified through the International Risk Management Institute as a construction risk insurance specialist.

Also as vice president, Matt Franzese will be responsible for working with local and regional businesses to help put together risk management insurance programs, focusing on manufacturing, technology and cyber-related risks, among others. He started his career at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and established an affinity program for a large New York state association with more than 9,000 members.
