Cybercrime activity up in Brazil amid Olympics: Report

Cyber security firm Fortinet Inc. has said in a report that cybercrime activity is increasing in Brazil, which is currently hosting the Olympics, Insightcrime.org reported.

The report found that there has been an 83% increase in the volume of malicious URL addresses created during June.

Various experts have been warning of an increase in cybercrime activity in the nation.
