PartnerRe names ex-Munich Re exec global client chief

PartnerRe Ltd. said Monday that Jörg Bruniecki was appointed to head of global client and broker management effective Aug. 1.

Mr. Bruniecki will report to group executive committee member Charles Goldie. Among other duties, he will be responsible for managing PartnerRe’s key broker relationships and rolling out a client-focused approach across the company, PartnerRe said in a statement.

Mr. Bruniecki was formerly head of corporate client and channel management at Munich Reinsurance Co., where he was responsible for managing various aspects of client relations including the strategic development of broker relationships, developing Munich Re’s sales capabilities worldwide and more recently, business development for the company’s nonlife business in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.
